Join Now!This week, publisher HoYoverse announced that they would be running one final Closed Beta Test for their coming auto-chess slash narrative adventure role-playing game title ‘Honkai: Nexus Anima’. The game is also slated to launch in the Spring of 2027 and pre-registrations are now available on the App Store as the game intends to launch on PC via HoYoPlay, iOS, and Android.
Nexus Anima’s Closed Beta Test will begin 25 November and you can sign your butt up by clicking this link and filling out the questionnaire. The devs need your feedback as this test will showcase more of the core gameplay and story of Honkai: Nexus Anima, all the while bringing alone new characters, Anima, areas, and gameplay features.
Oh, and, just a heads up: your data will be wiped at the end of the test. Keep that in mind!
In the Final Closed Beta, players take on the role of an Animaster and set out from the town of Iia on a brand-new adventure. This test features more captivating stories, distinctive gameplay, and richer exploration than any before it, painting a fuller picture of the world of Honkai: Nexus Anima. Players will not only unlock new chapters of the adventure, but also meet new faces along the way — some companions, others formidable rivals. Each brings a past and a stance of their own, adding more unknowns and possibilities to the journey ahead.
As the adventure unfolds, Iia, where the journey begins, will reveal more of itself: from the stately halls of a traditional bank, to the bustling floors of a high-rise office building, all the way to a breezy lighthouse island. Across these varied settings, players will get a feel for the distinct atmosphere and warmth of every corner of town. Of course, no matter how long the journey, every traveler needs a place to stop and recharge: in this test, players can head to their own RV for a rest at any time, or build habitats for their Anima as they explore the map.
Out exploring, players may also come across Anima in their Chromatic forms. More juvenile Anima will join the adventure too, traveling at players’ side and facing challenges with them, so players can witness every step of their growth from fledgling to formidable. The Eidos Event Bond and Anima Event Bond are also being adjusted: the first 5-star Eidos or Anima a player obtains is guaranteed to be the current limited one, and obtaining the current limited Eidos also lets them claim the matching Anima Companion for free.
Beyond the joy of new encounters, this test also deepens the ways Anima keep players company — holding hands, hugging, being hoisted high in the air by an Anima. More of these interactions will unlock one by one, making every step together feel that much more real. Finally, combat is getting an upgrade too. The brand-new Nexus Arena mode officially launches: players can put together any lineup they like, get matched against opponents, and push for higher ranks. The open world and the various challenge stages will also see tougher enemies, for a more demanding combat experience.
