Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Demo Launches Next Week

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will have a demo releasing two weeks ahead of the game’s launch, Konami have confirmed. Players who access the demo will be able to transfer their save data to the full game once it has released.

The demo will feature the opening chapter of the game, and players wishing to transfer their data to the full game will need to ensure that they play on the same platform and use the same account. Konami have also stated that when transferring save data, players will need to ensure they have updated the full game to the latest version.

The demo is a fairly small download, coming in at between 3GB and 6GB depending on platform. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is due for release on October 15th, which gives players a full two weeks with the demo ahead of the full release of the game.

Per Konami, “Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-based 2D action game developed jointly by KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin. The story unfolds in Paris, France, in 1499—23 years after the events of the popular series entry Castlevania III. Rose Belmont, daughter of the Dracula-slaying hero Trevor Belmont, sets out to defeat monsters whilst exploring the burning streets of Paris and Dracula’s castle, utilizing a variety of weapons and skills, including the sacred whip ‘Vampire Killer’.”

The playable demo of Castlevania: Belmonts Curse arrives on October 1st, onto Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
