The Mystery of Oak Island is a passion project from Visionaire Studio, who make the popular point and click game engine.
Visionaire Studio's game engine powers the likes of Deponia, Anna's Quest, Casebook 1899 - The Leipzig Murders, The Whispered World, Lucy Dreaming and many other classic adventures. Now, it's their turn to make a game.
What is it? The Mystery of Oak Island is a classic hand-crafted point & click adventure inspired by the real-world 1795 Oak Island treasure mystery. For the ~45 minute demo players step into the shoes of Ryan Porter aboard a pirate ship lying lonely and deserted in the bay near Oak Island. Nobody knows what happened on board. Focusing on high suspense and classic adventure design, players explore the eerie vessel and solve handcrafted inventory, logic, and mechanical puzzles to uncover what transpired.
