Rayman Legends Retold launch pushed to December 3

The original Rayman Legends was released back in 2013, and 13 years later comes the remake… in December for the upcoming holiday season.

Officially revealed last June at State of Play, Rayman Legends Retold was originally set for an October 1st launch day. Despite the game going gold, the devs have delayed the game until Thursday, December 3, citing the desire to polish the game even more. But fans need not to worry too much, as the dev team has some extra promotional materials to keep fans occupied and engaged before the new launch date.

Prior to the delay announcement, Ubisoft has been busy with promoting the new remake. At last month’s Gamescom ONL alone, Ubisoft promoted the game’s upcoming musical stages. Additionally, Rayman also promoted a crossover in the racing title The Crew Motorfest.

The two months of delay also provides extra time to catch up with Smash Jump’s early June preview of the Rayman remake.
