The demo for Imperial Kingdoms is now live!
You can download the demo directly from the main store page and try the core strategic systems in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
What you can play:
Economic Logistics: Construct town infrastructure, assign workers, and establish trade route networks.
Real-Time Supply Management: Armies consume food while in the field, garrisons, or conducting sieges. Raid enemy regions to cut off their food production and starve out defender forces, or secure your own supply lines to keep sieges alive.
Custom Unit Templates: Configure unit equipment based on your weapon and armor production.
Diplomacy and Reputation: Manage alliances (max 1 per player), negotiate mutual trade privileges, send peace terms, and manage territorial expansion so your reputation does not collapse.
Multiplayer: Play matches with up to 4 players to experience economic systems, diplomacy, and tactical combat against human opponents.
Time-Limit: The only restriction is time. How far do you get with the given time?
In preparation for tomorrow's demo release, a new diplomacy and reputation system has been implemented.
The update introduces formal interaction options between factions alongside a global reputation tracker that impacts aggressive expansion and pillaging.
Feedback: If you run into any bugs or have thoughts on balance and mechanics, please post them on the Steam Discussion Boards or join the Discord server. I am constantly reading feedback to refine the game.
Thank you for playing the demo.
