Akupara Games has announced that Airframe Ultra, the combat racing game from Rain World developer Videocult, will launch for PC via Steam on November 5, 2026. A free demo is also available.
Airframe Ultra is set across Megacity West, where competitors take part in the underground Ultra Circuit aboard airframes, the game’s take on hoverbikes. Players create their own racer before heading onto the streets.
Racers can attack opponents using pipes, chains, katanas, plasma torches, and other weapons. Boosting and maneuvering provide another way to gain an advantage without relying entirely on combat.

Getting knocked off an airframe does not immediately remove a racer entirely. Players can continue fighting on foot and steal another racer’s ride to get back into the competition.
Multiplayer supports online play alongside local split-screen matches. Courses take racers through different sections of Megacity West, including the shipyards of Slabtown, Ellay, the Ysidro edgelands, and the Texicali ZEGO zone.
