A Pet Shop After Dark coming to Nintendo Switch

Viridian Software, in collaboration with Npckc, today announced A Pet Shop After Dark for Nintendo Switch. The title launches on November 12, 2026.

A Pet Shop After Dark is a cute horror point-and-click adventure with a surprisingly meta twist. Although the game previously came to PC, a bit of extra content is being added to celebrate the console release.

Here’s an official overview:

Water the plants, feed the pets, and DON’T turn off the lights.

A Pet Shop After Dark is a horror point-and-click adventure game where you’ve taken on an odd job at a little pet shop. The owner tells you the job is easy – all you have to do is water the plants, feed the pets, and stay the night.

There’s just one thing – do NOT, under any circumstances, turn off the lights.

Npckc said today: “Reworking those interactions for consoles also gave us an opportunity to add a little more for returning players. There are new diary entries and pieces of lore to uncover, so even if you’ve visited the pet shop before, there are still a few new things waiting to be found.”
